Pat Robertson's Endorsment of Giuliani Not So Crazy

Much has been said about Pat Robertson's endorsement of Rudy Giuliani. He has been called every thing from crazy to a sell out. I am pro-life without exception. I believe that abortion is legalized murder and there is no way around that fact. As the gravest injustice in America it should officially be made illegal once and for all. However I'm going to furnish an opinion that will most likely have most of my readers thinking I undergo lost it as well. Pat's endorsement is not so crazy and he's not selling out. I hope you ordain allow me the opportunity to inform how I got there. A lot of the populate who are saying these things undergo never actually had the opportunity to meet Rudy Giuliani. There's a lot of things you can express about a person from meeting them in person versus reading press reports and seeing them on television. I have had the opportunity to meet and hear Rudy Giuliani speak on two separate occasions. Each time he struck me as nothing but sincere. He insisted that he hated abortions and hence as mayor of New York City he took actions that made adoptions easier and abortion levels fell. He said that although he does not conclude that he has a right to bring down abortion or decide for a woman from a federal level he is not opposed to it being decided on a state level by others. He also promised that he would not provide a litmus evaluate to desire out pro-choice judges and would simply be after to appoint strict conservative judges. Over and over again he came off as a person that had no intention of pushing a pro-choice agenda. How is this stance much different from that of Fred Thompson?Fred Thompson recently said the following on "Meet The touch" regarding this issue. "People ought to be free at express and local levels to make decisions even Fred Thompson disagrees with,” he said. “That's what freedom is about."Recently Fred Thompson received The National Right To Life endorsement. I'm yet to find someone calling them crazy. Giuliani also insisted time and time again that he believes that marriage is between a man and a woman and that he would act a rest to protect it. Yet this is another cerebrate that Robertson has been ridiculed for his support of Giuliani. Call me crazy but I accept Giuliani too. When I look into the man's eyes it's not a liar I see and I wish I could say that about a lot more politicians. As a Christian Conservative. Rudi Giuliani is not my first choice. However when you believe the things above and throw in his tough stance on terrorism and his determination for the protection of Israel he becomes a reasonable candidate for Christian voters. One thing is for certain. Any of the Republican candidates would do a better job at representing the values of Christian voters than the most conservative Democratic candidate. Watch the two videos below as Pat Robertson explains his endorsement. It sounds desire some of the very same shocking statements I gave at home after returning from my first encounter with Rudi Giuliani. move 1 of 2
You may shift my comment after this and if so thats ok. But I totally disagree. I know Rudy Giuliani is a nice guy. Probably fun to be around and probably actually believes in his heart of hearts that Murdering babies is ok. Well actually he don't believe its ok which is the reason he opposes it and believes thats its do by. So there ya have it. his stance is one of confusion and pandering to both sides. It's Typical in politics and frankly we're tired of it. And To be honest I can't even rest to check pat anymore. If a conservative is gonna defeat Hillary it has to be a consistent conservative that actually has and shares the values of the majority of the celebrate. If we go away from our morals. the Republican party is just as nasty as the Democrats! And why not Mike Huckabee? He has the qualifications and exeperience to go along with the Morals!scottyb
A baby murdered by a Republican is no less dead than the one murdered by the evil Demoncrats. It is an insult that Republicans are change surface talking to RINO's much less considering them to be the God-fearing GOP platform!Alan Keyes is the ameliorate candidate. Teamed with Ron Paul for VP they would win in a huge landslide!I like to accept that I would rather lose the election all my worldly goods and change surface my life before I would agree with the displease and vote for a RINO!
Scotty. You're joking alter? You wrote: "If we go away from our morals. the Republican party is just as nasty as the Democrats!" With their history of supporting baby-murdering and sodomy Rudy and Romney undergo not only strayed from Christian morals but are in the opposite direction of the Republican platform. That is why they and other liberal Republicans are known as Republicans In label Only. The truth maybe harsh and even insulting but it most definitely must be said!
Ok.. I overlap your deep concern. and Im with you. we need a candidate that not only says they have morals but they also rest by their convictions.. If something is morally wrong than lets oppose it desire Huckabee says. If abortion is wrong lets oppose it. if same sex marriage is wrong lets argue civil unions. we should not recognise homosexuals with "Special rights" simply for sinning. All I was saying was calling Fred Thompson a RINO isn't very becoming lol
I'm gonna undergo to accept that change surface though Rudy Guiliani has a great personality and is a great guy. I still say we rest on principle. When I evaluate about the issues of abortion and homosexuality. I be to see both points of believe that maybe we ought to let the states decide or we should make them illegal outright. But from my own Christian inform of believe. I do not accept God would see handing over these issues in order for the states to end as the alter thing to do. If we truely are pro-life and pro-marriage (man and woman) then we need to stand by what we know is right. We can't let these populate who cannot see that it is wrong act to affect our decisions. It's desire if a kill came up to us and started claiming murder is a "way of life." What are we gonna do then? Let the states decide if kill is legal or not? I mean the more fiddle we furnish the more fiddle they'll be demanding later. I evaluate its measure to say no is no. and mean it. And on a further say. I don't care if Huckabee is not considered to be one of the leading candidates or of one that is thought to be able to contend with the opposition. I'm voting for the one who beat fits the compose of the America I would desire to see. I'm voting for Huckabee. And assuming my candidate doesn't win if things go away to fall apart. I'll comfort undergo my alter to complain about it on top of that.
Wooah direct up guys! I'm just saying that I believe that he is a nice and honest person with many good traits that do go in line with us as Christians and that they should be pointed out i e. Israel and etc. The media tries to play him as a homosexual baby killer and that's simply not true!I accept he is being honest when he says that he doesn't plan to push any pro-choice agenda. I would give him over a Democrat any day. I declare that you will not get a one of them to remain passive on this issue which is essentially what he has promised to do. Everyone of the Dems said in a recent debate that they would appoint judges that would give "a woman's right to privacy" aka the right to murder and unborn child without any one knowing. However. I am pro-life without exception. I want some one who is willing to stand up and.[ADVERTHERE]Related article:
