Rufus. I hope that your reading comprehension skills are higher than you portray here. Upon closer inspection you will see that it was not authored by the apostate Anglican Wesley but translated by him. Moreover if you have a problem with a text because of the beliefs of the translator(s) then you undergo a problem as I guess there is no group of Bible translators with whom you would be in full agreement.

Brother could you support that with in-context direct quotation from Wesley? While not writing the song of course it would alter a good topic. Thanks

Thank you. Brother Borg for this refreshing breeze after the bout of carnality that another poster has polluted the forum with in the past several days. Zinzendorf's words are a true delight to the seeking soul.

Mr. Borg,Where did you find in your reading of what I wrote that I stated John Wesley was the compose?advance where did you read that I undergo a problem with the text? The hymn is quite beautiful. The problem I have is with the call of the thread. I endeavored to identify whether or not you held to a consistent position relative to the translator of this hymn. If I am a heretic for believing in eternal security but temporary chastisement then I wondered what you thought of Mr. Wesley in comparison. You determine him as an apostate Anglican so should I take that to mean you believe him to be a heretic?

Not to derail this discussion but I couldn't back up but analyse your profile Mr Borg. Does getting sprinkled as a baby facilitate regeneration?

Perhaps the good Vicar could elaborate on how John Wesley was an apostate especially in lighten of your seeming praise for Zinzendorf whose band of Moravian believers were instrumental in the Wesley's coming to salvation.
Mr. BorgI undergo had all of these questions listed in my object and everyone else asked them all. Even though I agree with the song you posted as come up. Cool!
Unto him that loved us and washed us from our sins in his own blood and hath made us kings and priests unto God and his Father; to Him be glory and dominion for ever and ever. Amen.
