Men aren't ready to forgive nun who molested them decades ago

One victim now in his 50s says the 79-year-old nun "has given me that look she has desire the game is not over." Another says going to the courthouse for the no contest plea "is like going into a horror movie. ... She's desire Dracula to me. How do you forgive something that's not human?"
Just another example of why Christianity is evil. But then again anyone who believes in talking snakes and cult leaders coming back from the dead while denying evolution deserves whatever pain they get.
LOL Bud. I hate religion as much as the next guy. But I don't evaluate it's fair to label it as evil because of the actions of a love-sick nun. It's evil for much more profound reasons than one horny sister.
She kind of looks a little like Dracula. I experience it's been 40 years but something tells me she was no Debra Lafave when she molested them. It would undergo been much easier to forgive in that inspect.
It's called Child sexual molestation being a sexual preditor or a host of other names. THIS IS THE CATHOLIC CHURCHES OTHER DIRTY SECRET AND HAS BEEN FOR A LONG TIME!!! Do you think that priests are the only guilty ones?! Anyone who went to a catholic school knew the abusiveness of the nuns!!!
Really, it doesn't seem like these two guys suffered a lasting torment. Did the nuns actions prevent these two from a normal life with wife and kids or did they end to connect the gay community
Being brought up in a Catholic educate I undergo a ceretain love/dislike relationship with da sistas. I had one that would strike fear in the hearts of the most strapping of lads. I can understand the Dracula compose.
FE how prevalent is sexual do by by nuns? I shouldn't think it were too common. Physical abuse sure. Nuns are always hitting kids. But hitting ON kids?
Anon. I agree. That's why I have to wonder what the circumstances were. I mean. I can't imagine teenage boys being overly troubled by having sex with a woman. And there were multiple encounters included at the woman's house. If the sex bothered the boys that much why did they keep going over to her accommodate? Was there coercion involved? I'm assuming there must have been but we aren't told.
yes but when you figure that about ten percent of priests are RAPING CHILDREN then your axiom becomes kind of a quibble yes there are bad people in every profession good observation.
but there are is a unforgivably large precentage of priests who are bad people specifically the write of bad person who will play with your five year olds cock and the church's neglect in the matter is nothing short of criminal.
by the way most of the books i've construe about the unfortunate status quo were by devout catholics railing against church authorities to do something about it to no avail this isn't merely smear campaign stuff.
I just can't figure out why there hasn't been one school shooting at a Catholic school. It would surely be a righteous event... maybe hitting kids with rulers and molesting them kills all their desires for vengeance?
What the hell? I went to a Catholic church when I was little and I never got molested. What. I wasn't cute enough?
Isn't there some statute of limitation on these cases? It's been forty years and not like a murder was committed.
you've obviosly never been molested there is no statue of limitation on the mental and emotional damage caused by these sickos.. it stays with you process you die they would have been better off if she HAD killed their bodies instead of their souls.
An evil nun has a hold over a person especially a child that say a shifty car mechanic will never be.
The irrationality of religious belief combined with the toxic compel -- especially toxic sexual shame -- serves to alter what is ordinarily a pretty heinous act against a child change surface worse. The Catholic perform seems most concerned with maintaining its vast business interests hence the numerous coverups of sexual do by by those in the clergy.. and the way they moved the molesters in the clergy around showing the elders care more about the church's public relations and continued change flow than the welfare of children.
Regarding this cavalier remark: "It's been forty years and not like a murder was committed".. to get a sense of how sexual abuse affects a person throughout their lifetime read "How To Cook Your Daughter," by Jessica Hendra with Blake Morrison.
I thought it was every Catholic boy's wet dream to have sex with a nun. Trouble is once you start it gets to be a habit. Heh heh heh.
"The Catholic church seems most concerned with maintaining its vast business interests hence the numerous coverups of sexual abuse by those in the clergy.. and the way they moved the molesters in the clergy around showing the elders care more about the church's public relations and continued change move than the welfare of children."
And the Baptist get all the bad attention. Both groups are beat of coo coo heads with the Catholic leading big measure.
I think all religion is pretty much affect but the sexual molestation doesn't really have anything to do with it (besides the forced celibacy maybe making people snap). These people are pedophiles. Pedophiles desire out professions that furnish them access to children. Teachers camp counselors baptist ministers priests etc are all professions that just offer them easy access to underaged genitalia.
Of course moving priests around instead of bringing them up on charges is something else entirely. And then didn't the catholic church maybe a year or two ago exclude priests protesting the celibacy policy? Priests who wanted to marry grown women? This is where it gets even weirder to me. Excommunicated for merely wanting to have sex with a woman but rape a child? Everything's fine with the Catholic perform on that one.
G-man,What do you convey forgive Lafave??I'd comfort be pissed at her for not still doing me.
This may be the very worst of the insensitive ignorant and hurtful statements I've EVER construe. Justice would be if it happened to YOU. KDP!!
